Education Options provides educational consultancy for school groups, foundations and authorities, including school improvement, leadership and the development of new schools. We also work with universities and employers to share course information, scholarships, internships and other opportunities with students and schools.

University and employer partnerships carry no fee. Consultancy for school groups, foundations and authorities is scoped and priced separately.

Universities and employers

Connecting institutions with students and schools

Universities and employers can work with us on webinars, application guidance, school visits and liaison with careers departments. We also share information about English-taught degrees, scholarships, internships and events through Sophyra Next.

Our audience includes students who pay to use Sophyra Next for study planning. University listings are free, institutions cannot buy a position in results, and students decide whether to make contact.

School groups and networks

Consultancy across more than one school

We support school improvement across groups and networks, reviewing teaching and learning, leadership, governance and educational provision. Work can include individual school reviews, shared improvement priorities, STEAM and curriculum development, and inspection or accreditation preparation. Each engagement takes account of the group's aims and the circumstances of its schools.

Foundations and authorities

Education innovation and design

We support foundations, investors and education authorities planning a new school or reviewing existing provision. The work can cover feasibility, the educational model, governance, regulatory preparation and plans for opening or development.

Every engagement begins with a conversation and is scoped to the institution. University and employer partnership carries no fee; where advisory work is chargeable, the fee is agreed at scoping.

University and employer partnership

No partnership fee

There is no fee for a university or employer partnership. Universities can have a free listing and link on Sophyra Next.

We ask partners to help keep their information current, including entry requirements, fees, courses, scholarships and placement opportunities. We can also agree webinars, application sessions, careers-department liaison and school visits where these are relevant to students.

Partnerships are disclosed. They do not influence a student's search results or give an institution access to a student without that student's request.

Institutional advisory

Scoped at consultation

Consultancy for school groups, foundations and authorities, covering diagnostic reviews, school and network design, accreditation preparation and feasibility work. Each engagement concludes with written findings and priority actions. The scope and fixed fee are agreed before work begins.

The Head’s Companion across a group

Annual · One subscription per school

The Head's Companion is available through a separate annual subscription for each school. Each school maintains its own compliance register, with duties, responsibilities and dates recorded together. The Companion is not designed for pupil records or safeguarding case material, and schools must not enter them.

Groups can discuss subscription arrangements with us. Individual schools can subscribe at theheadscompanion.com.

Independence

University partnerships are free, and we receive no school or university placement commissions. Sophyra Next carries no advertising or paid placement. Partnerships do not influence recommendations or search results.

Where an institution is both a partner and relevant to a family's advisory work, the relationship is disclosed in writing.

On confidentiality

Confidentiality and the mutual NDA

A mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before an engagement begins or advisory documents are produced. It covers confidential information shared during the work. Where requested, the agreement also covers the existence of the engagement.
