Institutional and University Partnerships

Partnerships that put the student first. We carry universities and employers to the schools and students we serve, through free listings on Sophyra Next, webinars, school visits, careers-department liaison, and scholarships, internships and events. Institutions pay us nothing; what we ask is that they help us keep their information accurate and tell us what students should know. We advise school groups and foundations at institutional scale.

Who we work with

The same consultancy discipline we bring to a single school, applied at the scale of an institution or a network.

Universities and employers

Reaching the right students, the right way

For universities recruiting internationally into English-taught programmes, and for employers offering internships and early-career places. Partners reach students through webinars and application masterclasses, arranged school visits, introductions to the careers departments of British international schools in the UK, Europe, and the Gulf, and by putting scholarships, internships, and events in front of the students who qualify for them.

These are not the browsers of a free mass database. Students subscribe to Sophyra Next, our student progression platform, and paying an annual fee is a filter no free listing site applies. Nothing on that platform is for sale: a listing is free to every university, results cannot be bought, and students choose every contact.

School groups and networks

Consultancy across more than one school

For groups operating several schools who want a consistent operating model, shared standards, and a single senior partner across the network. Whole-school review, STEAM and learning design, and accreditation readiness, scaled to the group rather than the individual school, with The Head’s Companion deployed across the network so the group sees one readiness picture instead of a folder per school.

Foundations and authorities

Education innovation and design

For foundations, investors, and authorities commissioning new provision or rethinking existing provision. Feasibility, design of the educational model, and the strategy to bring it to market, delivered by people who have run schools rather than studied them from the outside. A new school can open with its compliance framework already in place rather than retrofitted in the term before its first inspection.

How we work

Every engagement begins with a conversation and is scoped to the institution. University and employer partnership carries no fee; where advisory work is chargeable, the fee is agreed at scoping.

Complimentary consultation

No charge · 30 minutes

A first conversation to establish scope, suitability, and whether the practice is the right fit for what the institution is trying to achieve. Every engagement begins here.

University and employer partnership

No fee · Reciprocal

We do not charge universities or employers to work with us, and we never ask an institution to pay for us to carry its courses, scholarships or internships. Every institution has a free listing and a free link on Sophyra Next. The partnership exists to put accurate, current information in front of students at the point they are making a decision.

What we ask in return is collaboration rather than money. Partners help us verify what we hold about them, so that entry requirements, fees and course detail are right when a student relies on them, and they tell us what is worth knowing: new courses and degrees, scholarships, internships and placements. We pass it on to our subscribing students, and we work with partners on webinars and application masterclasses, careers-department liaison and school visits where those serve the students we both want to reach.

Partnerships are always disclosed. Nothing in a partnership changes what a student sees on Sophyra Next, and contact with a student happens only when the student asks for it.

Institutional advisory

Scoped at consultation

For school groups, foundations, and authorities: diagnostic reviews, whole-school and network design, accreditation readiness, and feasibility work for new provision, delivered by people who have run schools. It concludes with a written report of findings and priority actions. The fee is fixed and agreed at scoping.

The Head’s Companion across a group

Annual · Scoped for a network

Our compliance-readiness dashboard for Heads, deployed across a group or installed in a new school before it opens. Every duty under the ISS and BSO frameworks and the COBIS Accreditation and Compliance Standards is mapped, owned, and dated, so a group can see readiness across every school in one place and a new school opens with its framework already running. It holds no pupil data. Scoped at consultation for a network; single schools subscribe directly at theheadscompanion.com.

Independence

Universities never pay us, in any form: not for placing a student, not per enrolment, and not for carrying their information in front of the students we serve. There is no fee to become a partner. Sophyra Next carries no advertising and no paid placement, a listing there is free to every institution, and no partnership changes what a student sees in their results. Institutional work and parent advisory are kept on their own routes, so a family on our parent advisory route can trust our reading of a school or university even where that institution is also a partner. Any overlap is disclosed in writing.

On confidentiality

Every engagement is preceded by a mutual NDA

Institutional work touches on commercial strategy, recruitment data, and decisions that are not yet public. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before any document is produced. Where an institution prefers that the engagement itself remain confidential, that arrangement is accommodated as standard.
